Derek's SisterDerek walked down the hallway to his sister's bedroom. There were signs on the door: "Keep Out", "Caution", "Go away". The typical for a girl her age. Just a teenager.

Some still hovering towards the ceiling and some lingering on the floor. There was flowers on her dresser, window sill and nightstand, along with cards and stuffed teddy bears. All saying: "Get well soon". His sister sat on her bed in the corner of her room in a big pull over jacket and sweatpants. She had lost a lot of weight due to the chemo and tried to hide it with big clothes. Desiree looked up at her brother. Her eyes were puffy and her face was gaunt looking. She was obviously crying and had, once again, not slept
